PSAf Annual Report for 2010 now available

Panos Institute Southern Africa (PSAf) has published the organisation’s Annual Report for 2010, highlighting our achievements four years into the organisation’s current Strategic Plan.

The annual report gives an insight into how the organisation continued to position itself in the light of changing environment in the region and internationally. Various new projects that the organisation embarked on in 2010 are detailed in the report. These projects went a long way in enhancing our physical presence across southern Africa and, more importantly, the scale and depth of our interventions.

In line with the organisation’s efforts to strengthen regional presence, a new office was opened in Maputo, Mozambique. Thye office was fully operationalized and three new projects immediately came on board. The success recorded so far under these projects has seen many partners expressing interest to work with PSAf in Mozambique. The opening of an office in Mozambique also enabled us to venture into Angola, another Lusophone country, where we are now implementing new activities under the two-year SIDA HIV & AIDS project. Details of these projects in Mozambique and Angola are contained in the annual report.

The report also touches on PSAf’s efforts to scale up the organisation’s work into the islands of southern Africa. successful consultations were held with media and other stakeholders ion Madagascar. Details of these engagements, which were highly publicised in the Malagasy media, are also contained in the annual report.

If you would like to obtain a copy of the annual report, please feel free to contact our regional office in Lusaka, Zambia as well as our national offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Maputo Mozambique. The full contacxt detaills are available on the Contacts Page.
