Presenting a vote of thanks at the PSAf Strategic Plan launch in Lusaka on 17 February, an official from Yatsani radio, one of the leading community media houses in Zambia praised PSAf for the organisation’s role in supporting media development. Yatsani is one of the 10 institutions that have received PSAf support under the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) funded Africa wide Mwananchi-Atwaambe initiative.

Itezhi Tezhi community station has improved access to health information
From the time Itezhi Tezhi Community Radio Station started we have seen our health programmes being received well by the community. In fact, and thus far, our coverage in terms of service delivery has improved. We have seen more people accessing the health facility, compared to the time before the (Itezhi Tezhi FM Community) radio station came on the scene.
